Directorate Change

Premier Foods announces the following Board changes to take effect on Thursday 25 March 2021.

Board Retirement

Shinji Honda, non-executive director, has advised the Company that he intends to stand down as a director of Premier Foods on 25 March 2021, following his decision to retire from Nissin Foods Holdings Company Limited ("Nissin"). Mr Honda has served on the Board since March 2018 pursuant to the terms of the relationship agreement between the Company and Nissin ("the Relationship Agreement").

Board Appointment

Following Mr Honda's retirement, Yuichiro Kogo will be appointed as a non-executive director and as Nissin's representative director pursuant to the Relationship Agreement, with effect from 25 March 2021.

Mr Kogo is Head of Business Development, responsible for devising Nissin's M&A strategy, as well as originating and executing business alliance and investment transactions. Prior to joining Nissin in 2016, he spent nine years in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs Japan Company Limited, advising Japanese and international clients. He holds an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
