Under Bridgepoint's ownership, Alliance has grown rapidly from itsoriginal UK base to become Europe's leading provider of diagnostic imagingservices. Since the acquisition in 2001 for GBP 86 million, revenues haveincreased six fold, profits five fold and employee numbers have risen from 177to 690. Furthermore, Alliance Medical's EBITDA increased from GBP 9.9 million toGBP 56 million. This development resulted in a 4.2x multiple for the Princesspartnership Bridgepoint.
