AGM Statement & Trading Update
Petards,Β the AIM quoted listed developerΒ of advanced surveillance systems, announces that at its Annual General Meeting held today all resolutions laid before the meeting were duly passed.
At the Annual General Meeting the following statement on trading was made by Petards Chairman, Tim Wightman:
"Trading conditions remain in line with those previously reported to shareholders and as we expected, revenues for 2009 will be weighted towards the second half of the year. The Company has continued to trade in line with the Board's expectations.
We are continuing to work on further developing overseas sales opportunities for our products for both the Transport and Emergency ServicesΒ sectorsΒ and demand for our defence services remain at a very encouraging level."
