VISLINK announce £1.2m contract

Vislink plc ("The Group"), the global technology business specialising in secure communications products and services for the News & Entertainment, Law Enforcement & Public Safety, Marine & Energy markets, announced today that they will supply a high-definition satellite newsgathering solution to Salam Media Cast, the leading Qatar based systems integrator, who are providing a turnkey solution for a prestigious customer with global influence.

The eight uplink systems will include Advent 1.2m motorised fly-drive antennas and the latest modular electronics with ASI encapsulation in IP. The new systems will join a significant number of Advent systems already in successful operation with the customer.

Commenting on the order, Salam Media Cast Executive Director Sami El Shafai said: "We chose VISLINK because of their proven products, cutting edge IP enabled solution and their ability to meet rapid delivery times".
