Pebble Beach Systems Group plc (the "Company" or the "Group")

Board changes

Pebble Beach Systems Group plc, a leading global software business specialising in solutions for playout automation, and content serving customers in the broadcast markets, announces the following board changes.

Since completion of the sale of Vislink Communication Systems, the remaining trading entity, Pebble Beach Systems Limited, has been managed by Tom Gittins as CEO and Peter Mayhead as CFO and COO.

Following on from the previously announced Board decision to operate the Company as an independent entity, contingent on the ongoing support of its bank, the Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Mayhead as Group CEO. Peter has been with Pebble Beach Systems Limited since 2013. He has significant experience of both the industry and the operations of the Company. Prior to this Peter was Chief Financial Officer at Pro-Bel Limited, a developer and supplier of infrastructure equipment, automation, and channel in a box technology for the broadcast industry, which merged with Snell & Wilcox in 2009.

John Varney, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company commented:

"The Board is delighted to welcome Peter to the Board as Group Chief Executive Officer. He has a wealth of knowledge on both the Company and the industry and the Board see his experience as crucial to the next phase of the Company.

As previously announced, Oliver Ellingham, Non-Executive Director, stepped down from the Board at the end of last year. The Board would like to thank Oliver for his many years of service to the Company as a Non-Executive Director."

John Varney will continue as Non-Executive Chairman and Robin Howe as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director.

Further appointments to the Board are expected in due course.

Peter Michael Mayhead, aged 45, was appointed to the Board on 1 January 2018 subject to routine due diligence which has since been completed.

Peter holds or held the following Directorships or Partnerships in the past 5 years:

Peter currently holds 100,000 LTIP options over ordinary shares of 2.5 pence. These options have vested but have not been exercised. Peter holds no interest in the ordinary share capital, or other securities, of the Company.
