Total Voting Rights
Petra Diamonds Limited,Β the international diamond mining group,Β announces thatΒ as atΒ 10Β December 2009 the total number ofΒ issuedΒ ordinary shares ofΒ 10 pence each in the Company isΒ 264,005,523, each share having equal voting rights.Β This increaseΒ in shares in issue follows theΒ Company's recent issue of 80 million newΒ PetraΒ shares, being the first tranche of share issued with regards to the placing recently carried out by the Company.
The above figure (264,005,523Β shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in Petra Diamonds under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
