Director's Dealing

Asian Plantations Limited (LSE: PALM), a palm oil plantation company with operations in Malaysia, received notification on 5 October 2012 that Asian Forestry Holdings Limited, a company jointly held by Dennis Melka and Graeme Brown, Joint Chief Executive Officers of the Company, acquired 2,500 ordinary shares in the Company of no par value ("Ordinary Shares") on 4 October 2012 at a price of 238 pence per Ordinary Share, representing, in aggregate, 0.005 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

In addition, the Company received notification on 5 October 2012 that Tan Sri Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi, Chairman of the Company, acquired 5,000 Ordinary Shares on 4 October, at a price of 235 p per Ordinary Share, representing, in aggregate, 0.01 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.

Following the share purchases described above, Dennis Melka and Graeme Brown are now beneficially interested in 2,103,501 and 2,103,501 Ordinary Shares respectively, representing approximately 4.52 per cent. and 4.52 per cent. respectively of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Tan Sri Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi is now interested in 2,031,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 4.37 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
