Management of share buyback programme

On 5 June 2024, Paragon Banking Group PLC (the "Company") announced a share buyback programme of up to £50m (the "buyback programme"). 

In advance of the publication of its full-year results on 3 December 2024, the Company's closed period will commence on 1 October 2024. The Company has today lodged an irrevocable non-discretionary instruction with Jefferies International Limited ("Jefferies"), to continue to operate the current buyback programme during the closed period. Jefferies will operate the buyback programme autonomously during the closed period until the buyback programme is completed or until 31 October 2024, whichever occurs first.

Any share acquisitions will be effected within certain pre-set parameters, and in accordance with both the Company's general authority to repurchase shares and in compliance with Market Abuse Regulation 596/2014 (as it forms part of UK law by virtue of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (as amended)) and Chapter 12 of the Listing Rules. The Company confirms that it currently has no unpublished price sensitive information.
