Statement on Reasons on ceasing to hold office as auditor
As required by Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, we detail below our reasons for resigning from office as auditor of Oberon AIM VCT plc.
The partner who served as Responsible Individual for your audit, Mr Mital Shah, departed Moore Kingston Smith LLP. As a result, our firm has reduced capacity to complete audits for Public Interest Entities and in order to maintain the quality of the audit services that we provide, we have determined that it is necessary for us to resign from our office as auditor.
There are no circumstances connected with our ceasing to hold office as auditor which we consider should be brought to the attention of the company’s members or creditors.
