significant Awards for ΟΤΕ for a second year in a row

 at the annual Extel Europe 2013 rankings

ATHENS, Greece -June 25, 2013 - Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (ASE: HTO, OTC MARKET: HLTOY), announces that its performance was rewarded with high rankings, for a second time in a row, in the 2013 Thomson Reuters Extel Europe Investor Relations Survey.

OTE's Group CFO, Mr. Babis Mazarakis, was voted by the European analysts the best CFO for Investor Relations, and OTE's IRO, Mr Dimitris Tzelepis was voted, for a second time in a row and for the fourth time since 2007, the best Investor Relations Professional in Greece.

The Thomson-Extel annual Investor Relations Survey is considered the most prestigious and independent Investor Relations performance evaluation, since 250 investement banks and 2,500 institutional investors vote throughout Europe, USA and Asia. The process is monitored and ratified by the auditing firm Deloitte, while the votes are calculated according to the significance and the size of the company of each participant, ensuring in this way the objectiveness of the evaluation.
