Announcement

Αthens, June 25, 2009 -The Board of Directors of Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (OTE SA) informs its shareholders that, pursuant to the decision of the company's Annual General Assembly of Shareholders, of June 24, 2009, the dividend for fiscal year 2008 amounts to €367.612.791,75 or €0.75 per share. The said dividend is subject to a 10% withholding tax (€0.075 per share, in accordance with the provisions of greek Law 3697/2008), and therefore shareholders will receive a net dividend amount of €0.675 per share. 

The ex-dividend date will be June 29, 2009. Dividend payment will commence on Tuesday, July 7, 2009.
