Orchard Funding Group PLC, the finance company which specialises in insurance premium finance and the professions funding market, announces that Iacovos Koumi, Independent Non-Executive Director, has resigned from the board of Directors of the Company (the "Board"), with immediate effect. His resignation is due to personal reasons, however Iacovos will remain available to advise the Company in its plans for becoming a bank during 2019.

Gary Jennison, Non-Executive Chairman of Orchard Funding Group, commented:

"We thank Iacovos for his contributions to the Company since his appointment in February 2017, where we has brought valuable banking and finance experience to the Board and played a key part in assisting with the banking licence process. We are pleased that he will remain available to the Company in an advisory capacity. Subject to receiving the banking licence, it is the Board's intention to make a further Independent Non-Executive Director appointment in due course."
