DIRECTOR'S DEALING
Pennington, NJ - October 8, 2010 -- Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTT and London Stock Exchange AIM: OPT) ("OPT" or the "Company") announces that it received notification on October 6 that Dr. George W. Taylor, Executive Chairman and Director of OPT, had sold, on October 6, 2010, a total of 16,640 shares of common stock at prices ranging from US$5.20 per share to US$5.35 per share.
Following this sale Dr. Taylor holds 666,361 shares, representing 6.4% of the Company's issued share capital.
