Purchase of own securities
In addition to the 'Purchase of own securities' announcement at 16:30 on 31 October 2008, Octopus AIM VCT plc announces that on 31 October 2008 the Company purchased a further 11,729 Ordinary shares at a price of 63.0p per share. The Ordinary shares purchased represent 0.04% of the total number of voting rights in the Company before the transaction.
These shares will be held in Treasury.
Following this transaction, the issued share capital of the Company is now 31,930,030 Ordinary shares. The Company now holds 1,584,234 Ordinary shares in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Octopus AIM VCT plc is 30,345,796 (the 'Figure').
The Figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Octopus AIM VCT plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
