Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc (the "Company")

Block Admission Application

The Company confirms that a new block admission application (the "New Block Admission Application") has been made to the London Stock Exchange for 50,000,000 ordinary shares of £0.0001 each in the capital of the Company (the "New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.

The New Ordinary Shares will, upon issue, rank equally with all other ordinary shares of £0.0001 each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") that are then in issue.

The New Ordinary Shares will be issued by the Company from time to time under the terms of the following remuneration plans:

- the Oxford Nanopore Technologies Limited Share Option Scheme;

- the Oxford Nanopore Technologies Limited Share Option Plan 2018;

- the Oxford Nanopore Technologies Limited Long-Term Incentive Plan 2021;

- the Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc Long-Term Incentive Plan 2021;

- the Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc Deferred Bonus Plan 2021;

- the Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc Share Incentive Plan 2021; and

- the Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc Employee Stock Purchase Plan 2021.

The New Block Admission Application is in addition to the Company's existing block admission of 40,000,000 Ordinary Shares announced on 5 October 2021 (the "Existing Block Admission"). Currently, 5,160,512 Ordinary Shares remain subject to its Existing Block Admission.

It is expected that admission of the New Ordinary Shares will become effective on 30 March 2026.
