AGM Statement
One Media iP Group Plc (AIM: OMIP), the digital media content provider that exploits intellectual property rights around music, video and copyright technology, will be holding its Annual General Meeting at Panmure Gordon, One New Change, London EC4M 9AF at 9:30am today. At the meeting, Ivan Dunleavy, Chairman of One Media iP, will make the following statement:
“2018 was a period of strategic progress and the Board is pleased with the continuing development to date.
“Our strategy is the continued expansion of our catalogue of music rights. We have made two initial acquisitions this year, further broadening the breadth and depth of content in the One Media library to include Spanish and Country music. These genres have proven global followings, particularly in Latin America, which has seen the highest rate of music revenue growth globally for four consecutive years according to research by the IFPI.
“We look forward to the future with confidence, as our pipeline of deals continues to expand and we expect the pace of our music rights acquisitions to accelerate.”
