Completion of Capital Reorganisation
The Company announces that, following completion of the capital reorganisation and the purchase by the Company on 29 August 2008 of 1,357.67 consolidated shares of £50 each ("Consolidated Shares") (equivalent to 135,767 ordinary shares of 50p each ("Ordinary Shares")) at a price of £195.5 per Consolidated Share (equivalent to £1.955 per Ordinary Shares) for cancellation in respect of the fractional entitlements of the small shareholders (as described in the circular issued by the Company on 29 July 2008), the Company's issued share capital now consists of 24,651,647 Ordinary Shares with voting rights. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.
Therefore, the above figure of 24,651,647 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
