Oao Gazprom27 January 2006 OAO "GAZPROM" RECEIVED PERMISSION FROM FFMS OF RUSSIA FOR ITS SHARES TO BE TRADED OUTSIDE THE TERRITORY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN THE FORM OF DEPOSITORY RECEIPTS OAO "Gazprom" today received permission from the Federal Financial MarketsService (FFMS) of Russia for Company's shares to be traded outside the territory of the Russian Federation in the form of depository receipts. Thepermission is issued to cover 8 285 729 515 shares of the Company, which is 35%of its share capital. The total amount of OAO "Gazprom" shares outstanding that are already tradedoutside of the territory of the Russian Federation in the form of depository receipts is 1 046 884 556 shares, which is 4.42% of the Company's share capital. OAO "Gazprom" believes that the decision of the FFMS regarding the increase of the amount of OAO "Gazprom" shares that have been allowed for trading outside the territory of the Russian Federation in the form of depository receipts willcontribute to the further growth of the market capitalization of the Company.
