We are pleased to inform you that the Board of Directors of our Company in their meeting held onΒ August 13, 2009Β at 1000 Hours atΒ Islamabad, have approved as follows:
CASH DIVIDEND
FinalΒ cash dividend for the year 2008-09 on the basis of accounts for the period endedΒ JuneΒ 30, 2009 @ Rs 2.50Β per share i.e.Β 25Β percent. This is in addition to Interim Dividends already paid @Β 5.75Β per share i.e.Β 57.5Β percent.
The above entitlement will be paid to the shareholders whose names will appear in the Register of Members onΒ Friday,Β SeptemberΒ 18, 2009. The Share Transfer Books of the Company will be closed fromΒ Saturday,Β SeptemberΒ 19, 2009Β toΒ Monday,Β SeptemberΒ 28, 2009Β (both days inclusive). Transfers received at the Share Registrar Office, Noble Computers Services (Pvt.) Limited,Β Mezannine Floor, House ofΒ Habib Building (Siddiqsons Tower), 3-Jinnah Cooperative Housing Society, Main Shahrah-e-Faisal,Β Karachi-75350 at the close of business onΒ September 18, 2009 will be treated in time for the purpose of above entitlement to the transferees.
The financial results of the Company are enclosed as Annex-I. Further summaries of OGDCL Accounts &Β Notes and Highlights of the Company's performanceΒ are enclosed as Annex-II to III
We will be sending you 300 copies of Accounts for distribution amongst the members of the exchange.
