Senior Management Appointments

Norcros plc, a market leading supplier of high quality and innovative bathroom and kitchen products announces a strengthening in its senior executive team with the appointment from 1 August 2021 of Thomas Willcocks as Group Business Director - UK.

Thomas joined Norcros South Africa as Tile Africa's Store Development Manager in 2006. In 2007 he was promoted to General Manager of Tile Africa before being appointed as Managing Director of Norcros South Africa in 2009 and has overseen the sustained and profitable growth of our South African business. Thomas previously worked for the Spar Group in South Africa and the UK. He grew up in Swaziland and was educated in South Africa where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Natal. 

Thomas as Group Business Director - UK will be based in Wilmslow, Cheshire and have operational responsibility for the Group's UK business segment and will report to Nick Kelsall. He will join the senior executive committee of the Norcros Group, which from 1 August will comprise the CEO (Nick Kelsall), CFO (James Eyre) and Group Counsel/Company Secretary (Richard Collins). This new role will allow the Group to further develop its growth strategy including the continuation of its successful acquisition programme.

Kevin Swan, currently Group Operations Executive for Norcros South Africa will be promoted and succeed Thomas as Managing Director of Norcros South Africa effective also 1 August 2021. Kevin joined Norcros in March of this year and previously was Chief Executive for Bidvest Packaging. Kevin graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand as a Civil Engineer and in his early career worked as a structural design consultant. He has extensive senior management experience in the manufacturing and distribution sectors and has a proven business development track record. Kevin will also report to Nick Kelsall.
