As at 3 June 2011 New World Resources Plc's ("NWR Plc") issued share capital consists of 261,723,917 'A' Ordinary Shares of EUR 0.40 each, 10,000 'B' Ordinary Shares of EUR 0.40 each and 2 Subscriber Shares of EUR 0.40 each. The 'B' Ordinary Shares and the Subscriber Shares are not listed on any exchange. NWR Plc holds no shares in Treasury.

The total number of voting rights attaching to the 'A' Ordinary Shares of NWR Plc is therefore 261,723,917.

The above figure (261,723,917) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, NWR Plc "A" Ordinary Shares under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
