Appointment of Non Executive Directors

NWF Group plc, the specialist agricultural and distribution business, announces the appointment of Yvonne Monaghan and Philip Acton, as Non Executive Directors of the Group with effect from 6 August 2013.

Yvonne May Monaghan, BSc, FCA, aged 55, is currently Group Finance Director of Johnson Service Group Plc, a market leader in the textile rental, dry-cleaning and facilities management sector. During Yvonne's twenty nine year tenure at Johnson Service Group Plc, she has overseen fund raisings, several acquisitions and disposals including public company takeovers, managed the move from the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange to AIM and returned the company to a growth strategy.

Thomas Philip Acton, BA, ACA, aged 55, was Chief Operating Officer, Europe and Asia for Genus Plc, the world leader in porcine, dairy and beef animal genetics. Philip had full profit and loss responsibility for the Europe and Asia region of the business, was involved in several acquisitions and disposals including managing the integration of two geographically diverse businesses and led the group's accelerated entry into developing economies by forming strategic partnerships. Over the course of his seventeen year tenure with Genus he held several positions including that of Group Finance Director.

Commenting on the appointments, Chief Executive, Richard Whiting said: 'I am delighted to welcome both Yvonne and Philip to the Board of NWF. Their experience and knowledge will be important in developing the Group further following our record performance for the year ended 31 May 2013.'
