NWF Group PLC12 April 2006 Embargoed until 07.00 12 April 2006 NWF GROUP PLC APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR NWF Group plc ("NWF Group" or the "Group"), the diversified sales anddistribution company, announces the appointment of David Robert Southworth, as aNon Executive Director of the Group with effect from 1 May 2006. David Southworth, FCCA, age 57 was Chief Executive and then Executive Chairmanof P&P plc, which subsequently became Skillsgroup plc, a market leader in the ITtechnical training market. David was instrumental in transforming the businessfrom a small private product-based business, to a major provider of people-basedIT consultancy and training. Over the course of his fourteen year tenure at P&P/ Skillsgroup he oversaw more than 20 acquisitions, flotation in 1988, and grewthe business to a market capitalisation of over £300 million. David comes to NWF with a wide-ranging understanding and experience of bothquoted and unquoted companies the majority of which operate from the North Westof England, where he has spent the majority of his working life. He has been andis currently chairman of a number of diverse businesses, listed and private,whose activities stretch from manufacture to marketing and software.
