Northern 2 VCT PLC22 July 2005 22 July 2005 Northern 2 VCT PLCAmendment to purchase of own shares The Company announced on 21 July 2005 that it had purchased for cancellationunder an existing authority granted by shareholders 16,500 ordinary shares of5p each in the market at a price of 76.3p, representing approximately 0.04 percent of the Company's issued share capital. The Company has now been informed by its broker that the selling broker is unable to deliver the relevant shares as it had intended to sell shares in a different venture capital trust but had identified the Company in error. As a result the transaction has been cancelled. Accordingly, there remain 43,692,697 ordinary shares in issue rather than the 43,676,197 ordinary shares as previously stated.
