The Nottingham Building Society has today announced that Ashraf Piranie their Deputy CEO and Finance Director will join the West Bromwich Building Society as their Group Finance & Operations Director in 2017.

Ash has been with The Nottingham for nine years and, as part of the executive team, has played a key part in the development and success of the Society over that period.

Commenting, David Marlow CEO said, "I would like to thank Ash for his outstanding contribution to the Society over the past nine years and wish him the very best for the future.

The Nottingham continues to develop and deliver its strategy, which in recent years has been very successful as more and more customers seek us out for help and advice on managing their financial affairs. This is evidenced by the growth of our branch franchise which has increased from 32 branches covering four counties in 2012 to 60 covering nine counties today. We have exciting plans for the future and will appoint a successor to develop and build on this success."
