General Meeting Statement
North Midland Construction PLC is pleased to announce that the Ordinary Resolution in relation to the proposed acquisition of Brian Evans' 15 per cent holding in North Midland Building Limited, not already owned by the Company, was passed at the General Meeting held earlier today. The terms of the Acquisition were set out in the Circular to Shareholders of the Company posted on 1 May 2008.
The Company has forwarded two copies of the resolution passed at the General Meeting to the Document Viewing Facility of the UK Listing Authority where they will shortly be available for viewing at the following address:

Terms defined in the Circular to Shareholders, dated 1 May 2008, have the same meaning when used in this announcement.
