Newcourt Group plc Ticker: NEW.I Acquisition of Security Business Dublin, Ireland - 23 November, 2007 | Newcourt Group Plc ('Newcourt'), aleading, Irish based, support services group, today announced that its whollyowned subsidiary, Federal Security Group, has acquired the business of BDSSecurity Management Limited ('BDS'). The BDS business is focused on both manguarding and electronic securityoperating primarily in Dublin and Cork. The business has annualised revenue ofapproximately EUR 13 million, employs in excess of 400 security officers andwill trade as part of Federal Security Solutions. The management of BDS willintegrate and become part of the existing management team at Federal SecuritySolutions. Federal Security Group currently employs in excess of 2,400 people on the islandof Ireland and expects to deliver revenue in excess of EUR 70 million for the2007 full year. Following the acquisition of the business of BDS, FederalSecurity Group will retain in excess of 2,800 security personnel.
