Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Nanoco Group plc (AIM: NANO), a world leader in the development and manufacture of commercial quantities of quantum dots, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Clinch, through his consultancy business St. Gabrielle LLP, as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Anthony Gorman Clinch, age 62 years, a highly experienced industrialist and financier, spent his early career with Rolls Royce before moving into corporate banking and private equity. He is currently a senior adviser to CVC Capital Partners, a private equity house which he has served in various roles since 1987. He is also a non-executive director of Taminco, a leading international manufacturer of alkylamines and derivatives.
Mr Clinch has been actively involved in a number of CVC's industrial investments, including the buyout and subsequent IPO of Victrex plc where he served on the board for a number of years.
Mr Clinch is a chartered engineer who holds a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering and an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research, both of which are from Imperial College, London. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board of Imperial College's Chemistry Faculty.
Mr Clinch currently has an interest in 12,526 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company representing approximately 0.01 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

Anthony Clinch holds or has held directorships or partnerships in the five years preceding his appointment at Nanoco, either personally or as the representative of a corporate director, as follows:
