Appointment of New Director

Molten Ventures VCT plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Clarke as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 April 2025.

Steven brings over 30 years of experience in private equity and non-executive roles across the technology and business services sectors. He currently serves on the boards of, and holds shareholdings in, three venture capital or private equity-backed software companies: QV Systems, Reactive Technologies, and Planixs. Over the past eight years, Steven has held non-executive or investing chairman roles in eight businesses, three of which have achieved successful exits. He has worked with a range of institutional investors, including Motive Partners, BGF, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, M&G Catalyst, SBI, and Mercia. He was a non-director of Thames Ventures 2 VCT plc until February 2025 .

His experience includes advising on growth strategies, funding, and transaction planning, with a particular focus on companies scaling up and becoming international.

Upon appointment, Steven will be a member of all of the Board's committees. Steven does not currently hold any shares in the Company. There is no information to be disclosed in respect of paragraphs 6.4.8(1) to 6.4.8(6) of the Financial Conduct Authority's UK Listing Rules.

Nicholas Lewis stepped down from the Board with effect from 31 March 2025, having served since 1998. The Board wishes to extend its sincere thanks to Nicholas for his long-standing contribution and commitment to the Company.
