Trading update

Mulberry Group PLC, the luxury British fashion house specialising in the design, manufacture and sale of leather goods and accessories, announced its results on 10 December 2009 for the six months ended 30 September 2009.

In subsequent months, Mulberry has continued to trade strongly, especially over the important Christmas period. The successful launch of the new Alexa handbag range has created demand from both retail and wholesale customers and given added impetus.

As a result, the outlook for Mulberry has strengthened and the results for the year ending 31 March 2010 are expected to be significantly ahead of market expectations.
