Runruno Operational Update

Metals Exploration plc (AIM: MTL) ("Metals Exploration", the "Company" or the "Group"), a gold production, exploration and development company with assets in the Philippines and Nicaragua, wishes to advise the market that the normal mining and gold processing operations at Runruno were not impacted by the Super-typhoon Ragasa that made landfall in the Philippines, north of the Runruno mine, on Monday 22 September 2025.

Super-typhoon Ragasa has now moved away from the Philippine landmass across the South China Sea towards Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.

Normal gold processing operations recommenced at Runruno earlier this month as expected, following an approximate six week deferral of gold production due to a cyanide contamination of the gold processing circuit. Refer to the RNS dated 28 August 2025.
