Director Dealing, Issue of Equity and Total Voting Rights
Microsaic Systems plc (AIM: MSYS), the developer of point of need mass spectrometry ("MS") instruments, announces that it will issue 85,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company (the "Fee Shares") to certain of the Company's directors in respect of their annual remuneration for their second year of service, paid in advance, as outlined in the Company's announcement of 19 January 2021.
In addition, the Company received notice from Dr Nigel Burton, Non-Executive Director of the Company of his intention to exercise warrants ("Warrants") relating to 200,000,000 ordinary shares, reflecting an investment of £200,000 in the Company. The Warrants were granted in conjunction with the fundraise completed by the Company in February 2021 (the "Fundraise") at an exercise price of 0.1p, being the Fundraise issue price.
Gerry Brandon, Non-executive Chairman of Microsaic Systems, commented:
"The exercise of warrants and investment of £200,000 by Dr. Nigel Burton, Non-executive Director, and our receipt of share based remuneration in lieu of our respective salaries for the second year, represent a strong signal of our full support for Microsaic and the commercial potential to come from its under-exploited technology. It also reflects our continuing belief in the quality of the Microsaic team, whose capabilities and expertise continue to impress."
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for 285,000,000 ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will occur at 8.00 am. on or around 17 February 2022.

Total voting rights
Following Admission, the Company will have 6,361,365,146 ordinary shares in issue. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury. Therefore, from Admission, the total voting rights in the Company will be 6,361,365,146.
From Admission, the figure of 6,361,365,146 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company pursuant to the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
