Marshalls PLC16 May 2007 AGM STATEMENT At the Annual General Meeting today, 16 May 2007, Mr Graham Holden, ChiefExecutive of Marshalls plc, the specialist Landscape Products Group, willprovide shareholders with the following update on trading: "Revenue from continuing operations, on a like for like basis, for the firstfour months of 2007 was 5 per cent ahead of the previous year. Total revenue,including acquisitions, was 8 per cent ahead. In the Domestic market, installer order books are currently at 9.7 weekscompared with 9.5 weeks at the same time last year. The Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower Show takes place next week.Marshalls' three year sponsorship of this prestigious world renowned show willclearly position and reinforce the Marshalls brand. At Chelsea we will belaunching our new national garden design and installation service which willcontinue to increase demand for the Group's products and build brandrecognition.
