The Company has been notified of the exercise of share options today under the executive share-option scheme by Mr TRJ Price, a director of the Company. Mr TRJ Price exercised his share options over 75,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") granted at 385p per Ordinary Share and due to expire on 16 November 2017. Accordingly, the Company issued Mr TRJ Price 75,000 Ordinary Shares.
Simultaneously, Mr TRJ Price sold 57,000 Ordinary Shares at 742.5p per Ordinary Share in order to fund the exercise cost of the share options and the associated tax liabilities. In addition, Mr TRJ Price transferred the remaining 18,000 Ordinary Shares to Mrs JA Price, Mr TRJ Price's wife.
Total Voting Rights
Following the above transactions the Company has 55,137,992 Ordinary Shares in issue. All of the Ordinary Shares have equal voting rights and there are no Ordinary Shares held in Treasury.
The above figure of 55,137,992 represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
