Accounts publication update
Further to the announcement of 3 November concerning the timeline for publishing the Company's audited accounts for the year ended 30 June 2020, the Company now expects these to be published in mid-December 2020.
Nigel Burton, Chairman, said:
"I would like to apologise to investors for the delay in releasing these accounts. The audit process is close to completion, and no issues or concerns have arisen. Unfortunately, it has simply taken a lot longer than expected to gather all of the information to the required standard for audit testing given the impact of Covid-19 and the disruption caused by restrictions in place in various countries we operate in, most particularly India and Argentina. The delays are very disappointing as they happened despite having put in place monthly procedures to bring all our accounting records into a central cloud based system. Further steps are being taken to strengthen our accounting processes and resources to ensure that these delays are not repeated.
An update on the progress made in the current year will be released alongside the results announcement."
