MONY Group PLCChange of External Auditor
MONY Group PLC (the "Company") announces that, following a formal and competitive tender process overseen by the Audit Committee, the Board has approved the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") as the Company's external auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
PwC's appointment as external auditor will be subject to approval by shareholders at the Company's 2026 Annual General Meeting. PwC will undertake the audit of the Company's financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2026, succeeding the Company's previous auditor.
In accordance with applicable regulations, the Company is required to put the external audit contract out to tender every 10 years. In the 2024 Annual Report it was stated that the Company was conducting a competitive tender process which would complete during 2025, given that the incumbent, KPMG, was reappointed in 2017 and is therefore required to cycle off.
Further details of the audit tender process and selection criteria will be included in the Company's 2025 Annual Report.
The Board would like to thank the outgoing auditor for their service and support over the years.
