UEL: One-year contract secured amid ongoing long-term agreement negotiations

Malvern International plc (AIM: MLVN), the global learning and skills development partner, announces a new one-year contract with the University of East London (UEL) for the 2025/26 academic year. Negotiations over a long-term agreement continue, and a resolution is expected this financial year.

The new contract extends an existing partnership whereby Malvern provides international student recruitment, teaching and support services for the International Study Centre (ISC) at UEL.

In its first year, starting in 2018/19, Malvern enrolled 13 international students in the ISC. It currently has around 1,000 students, making the ISC at UEL one of the largest in the UK.

Richard Mace, CEO at Malvern International, said: "We're making progress in our discussions with UEL on a multi-year agreement. The delay in finalising the contract reflects ongoing considerations around space requirements to support the continued growth of our partnership and align with our shared ambitions. We look forward to welcoming students in September 2025 and January 2026, supported by a strong and growing recruitment pipeline for the September intake."
