MILLENNIUM & COPTHORNE HOTELS PLC

NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS BY PERSONS DISCHARGING

 MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc ("the Company") has been notified that on 8 August 2011, Adrian Bushnell, Company Secretary, has exercised options of over 1,170 shares granted 20 March 2008 at an exercise price of 328p per share. The shares were granted under the Company's 2006 Sharesave Plan.

On completion of this transaction, Mr Bushnell gifted 1,170 shares to Zaneta Bushnell (spouse), a connected person.

Following this transaction, Mr Bushnell's beneficial interest, and that of connected persons, in the Company's shares is 7,943 representing 0.0025% of the Company's issued Ordinary Share Capital.
