mirada plc Board Appointments
mirada plc ("mirada" or "the Company"), the AIM-quoted audiovisual interaction specialist, is pleased to announce the appointment of three new non-executive directors, Javier Casanueva, Carlos Vizcayno and Francisco Javier Herrero, on 17 December 2009.
Javier Casanueva, 45, is a partner at Baring Private Equity Partners Espana S.A. ("Baring"), and has extensive experience in transactions both in Europe and the USA. He has sat on the boards of numerous companies across a variety of sectors as a representative of Baring, who currently hold 19.7% of the issued share capital of mirada.
Carlos Vizcayno, 45, is a lawyer and has served as General Counsel to companies for over ten years. Francisco Javier Herrero, 47, is an experienced CFO who will bring a wealth of knowledge and contacts in the European marketplace. Both will be representing the interests of Naropa Cartera S.L.U, who currently hold 19.3% of the issued share capital of mirada.
In the coming months mirada will continue with its strategy of expansion in its key markets of Latin America and Europe, and these new directors will be of particular benefit to the Company. They bring extensive experience in M&A, widespread business expertise, knowledge of the target markets and key contacts, all which will aid greatly in the Company's continued expansion.
