Minco PLC26 September 2005 Minco plc Minco plc announces additional drill results from its Pallas Green Zinc / Lead Project, Ireland •Drill holes intersect zinc and lead mineralisation in two separate areas LONDON 26 Sept 2005: AIM listed precious and base metals explorer and developerMinco plc (MIO) is pleased to announce further results from ongoing drillingadjacent to drill hole MN-2529-4 at the Pallas Green joint venture project, nearCaherconlish, Co. Limerick. This discovery hole contained massive tosemi-massive zinc and lead sulphides with an average grade of 14.97% zinc and4.5% lead over a width of 5.3 metres. The new mineralised area announced 8th August west of the village ofCaherconlish where drill hole MN-2529-4 intersected massive to semi massivesulphides has been augmented by 3 step-out holes. Hole MN-2529-5 is a 100 metrestep-out to the southwest and has intersected two zones of zinc mineralisation.Drill hole intersections can be summarised as follows: Hole Number Depth (m) Intersect (m) Zinc (%) Lead (%) MN-2529-4 357.15 - 362.45 5.3 14.97 4.5 MN-2529-5 366.95 - 368.4 1.45 5.39 1.18 385.7 - 388.4 2.7 9.78 0.02 Hole MN-2529-6, a step-out hole 100m to the northeast of hole 4, encounteredonly minor sulphide mineralisation. Hole MN-2529-7, a step-out hole 100m to thenorthwest of hole 4, is currently ongoing. Tobermalug The Joint Venture has recently completed two drill holes in the vicinity ofTobermalug, approximately 2,400 metres northeast of Caherconlish, with holeMN-636-20 intersecting a 24.1 metre zone of disseminated and massive zinc andlead sulphides from 319.85m to 343.95m averaging 5.49% zinc and 0.68% lead.
