Aberdeen Growth VCT1 PLC08 November 2006 ABERDEEN GROWTH VCT I PLC (the "Company") Portfolio Update and Net Asset Value On 7 November 2006, Styles & Wood Holdings PLC was listed on the main market ofthe London Stock Exchange. As part of the flotation process, the Company hasrealised its investment in Styles and Wood Holdings Limited for proceeds of£1,202,714. This amount represents an increase of £542,726 over the Company'sprevious valuation of the investment and a realised gain of £902,714 over cost. This follows the successful sale, on 17 October 2006, of the Company'sinvestment in Bond Aviation Solutions Limited for proceeds of £845,597 whichrepresents an increase of £145,597 over the Company's valuation of theinvestment and a realised gain of £345,598 over cost. The Directors are pleased to confirm that the unaudited Net Asset Value of theCompany as at 31 October 2006, including the effect of the above transactions,was £17,191,730 or 76.5p per share and represents an increase of 4.8% on the NetAsset Value at 31 July 2006.
