Matrix Income & Growth VCT 2 plc (the "Company")

The Board announces that the Ordinary Fund of Matrix Income & Growth VCT 2 plc has realised its investment in Gyro International Limited, in full by the sale of that investment to Pegasus Capital Advisors. This generated proceeds of ‚£ 2.39 million compared with an original cost of ‚£0.75 million. The ‚£0.95 million excess of proceeds above the most recent valuation of ‚£1.44 million is equivalent to an 8p increase in the Company's net asset value.
The Board intends to make the normal announcement of the Company's net asset value as at 31 January 2008 by the middle of March 2008.
