Appointment of Non-Executive Director

MyHealthChecked PLC (AIM: MHC), the consumer home-testing healthcare company, announces the proposed appointment of Amber Vodegel as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect 3 July 2023.

Amber is the Founder and original Owner of Health and Parenting Ltd, a HealthTech company that created the Company's flagship application Pregnancy+, one of the largest pregnancy apps worldwide, growing the user base to over two million daily active users. Amber managed Pregnancy+ as part of a suite of health apps under Health & Parenting Ltd from 2012 until the company was acquired by Philips in 2017. Following the acquisition she held the position of Business Leader and Transformation Advisor within Philips BG MCC. Amber has worked with MyHealthChecked in an advisory capacity for the past 5 months and brings to MyHealthChecked a strong knowledge of digital strategy in the healthcare space and a global network of contacts. Amber also brings experience in mobile app development, digital transformation, and platform development for the Health- and FemTech space, with a focus on driving consumer obsession and maximising user engagement. Previously, Amber worked as a Strategy Director at a digital advertising agency with a focus on large social media campaigns as well as helping various Apps reach the number one position in their category.

Amber is the winner of the UK's 'First Women of Healthcare Award' and was shortlisted for the 2016 NatWest 'everywoman Awards'.
