Morgan Sindall PLC27 July 2007 27 July 2007 Morgan Sindall plc ("Morgan Sindall" or "the Company") Result of EGM and completion of Acquisition On 4 June 2007 the Board of Morgan Sindall announced the proposed acquisition ofAMEC Developments Limited and certain assets and the business carried on by AMECInvestments Limited and the assets, liabilities and certain contracts relatingto the Design and Project Services division of AMEC plc (the "Acquisition"). The Board of Morgan Sindall announces that, at the Extraordinary General Meetingheld earlier today, the Ordinary Resolution to approve the Acquisition, detailsof which were set out in the circular dated 11 July 2007 (the "Circular"), wasduly passed by the requisite majority. In addition, the Board of Morgan Sindall confirms that all other conditionsrelating to the Acquisition sale and purchase agreements dated 3 June 2007, assummarised in the Circular, have been satisfied and the Acquisition hascompleted. Further details of the acquisition will be provided in Morgan Sindall's InterimResults announcement on 6 August.
