Merchant Securities, the financial services group, announces the forthcoming departure from the Group of John Foster-Powell, Chief Financial Officer. John will be stepping down from the Board and leaving the Group at the Annual General Meeting of the Company on 28 September 2011, to allow for a smooth handover.
Ahead of John's departure, the Board would like to thank him for all his hard work and the contribution he has made to the development of the business. The Directors will make a further announcement regarding the appointment of his successor in due course.
Patrick Claridge, Chief Executive of Merchant Securities, said,
"On behalf of the Board, I would like to wish John well in his new ventures and to thank him for his commitment and dedication to the Group during his time here."
