Option award
On 13 October 2008, Andrew Smith (Finance Director) and David Miles (Director of Social Housing) were each granted 100,000 nil cost options over ordinary shares of 1p each under the Mears 2008 Long Term Incentive Plan ("2008 LTIP").
These options are exercisable between 2011 and 2018 dependent upon the satisfaction of certain performance criteria under the terms of the 2008 LTIP. The number of options granted was determined using a share price of 251p per share, being the average closing price of an ordinary share for the three dealing days prior to the date of grant.
Following this grant of options Andrew Smith and David Miles have the following interests in the ordinary shares of Mears:
