Application for Listing

Mears Group plc announces that an application has been made for the listing of 143,750 ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List, to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities and to trading on the PLUS-Listed Market. The application is being made to satisfy the consideration in relation to the remaining shares compulsorily purchased in relation to the recommended offer for Supporta plc. The shares allotted will rank pari passu with the existing shares in issue. Admission is expected to be effective from 13 April 2010.
