Appointment of Designate Finance Director
McKay Securities PLC is pleased to announce that Giles Salmon has joined the Group and will succeed Alan Childs as Finance Director upon his retirement in August this year, which was announced on 19th January 2011.
Giles Salmon, a Chartered Accountant, who qualified with Ernst & Young, was formally Finance Director of BAA Lynton, the commercial property arm of British Airports Authority. In this role he assisted with the creation of the Airport Property Partnership (APP), a geared joint venture with Morley Fund Management (now Aviva Investors), which was set up to release value from £800m of BAA commercial property assets at Heathrow and elsewhere in the South East. Having been responsible for the finance elements of APP, Giles then managed the sale of BAA/Ferrovial's interest in the Partnership to Segro Plc in 2010.
