In accordance with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision we would like to notify the market of the following:

At the date of this Announcement McBride plc ("McBride") has an issued share capital of 181,040,301 ordinary shares. McBride holds 630,346 ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of McBride ordinary shares with voting rights is 180,323,327

The above figure (180,323,327) may be used by shareholders as a denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, McBride under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
