In compliance with rule LR 9.6.14 of the Financial Services Authority Listing Rules, McBride Plc announces that it has been informed that its Senior Independent Non-Executive Director, Mr C D Smith, will be appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Hilton Food Group plc with immediate effect from 1st October 2010.

There have been no other changes to the information set out in LR 9.6.13R (2) to LR 9.6.13R (6) in respect of Mr Smith.
